What goes in a livestream client report: TikTok Live and Shopee Live

A livestream client report sets out each session’s sales, items sold, buyers, viewers and product clicks, taken from TikTok’s LIVE Manager or Shopee Live’s Live Dashboard and Insights tab. TikTok’s GMV and Shopee’s Guided Sales are counted differently, so each keeps its own column.

How Shopee counts an order as coming from the livestream

Shopee’s Guided Orders count two kinds of order. The page defines them:

  • “Direct orders: Paid orders checked out within 7 days by shoppers who added the items to cart while watching your livestream and its replays.”
  • “Indirect orders: Paid orders by shoppers who have viewed your livestream and made a purchase within 24 hours from the start of the session.”

When the numbers are ready

Shopee’s page says when each kind of data appears after a livestream ends:

  • “Some metrics of the livestream are available once your livestream ends. You’ll be able to check views, likes, and streaming duration.”
  • “However, additional data such as orders, and guided orders and sales will only be available at least 1 day after the end of your livestream.”
  • On the Insights page: “Livestream data can take up to 3 days to show on the Insights page.”

Exporting and comparing sessions on TikTok

LIVE Manager’s Analyze performance section has two pages, LIVE Performance and LIVE History. The Malaysian page says:

  • You can click Export “to download the current analytics result as an Excel file”.
  • The Core data chart “shows metric performance by livestream session and includes the median value for comparison”.
  • Sessions “may be marked as Normal, Low, or High” against that chart.
  • LIVE History “shows individual livestream sessions within the selected time range”.

For a shop with several accounts selling its products, the page describes Data Compass’s Livestreams Analytics page under the heading “View LIVE contributions of all creators for the shop”. The page says merchants can filter “affiliate creators or official accounts by name” and “download the LIVE data of different creators”. What the platforms don’t give you

These are facts about the pages read, as of 30 September 2026.

  • Two dashboards. TikTok’s numbers sit in LIVE Manager and Data Compass. Shopee’s sit in the Live Dashboard, the Insights tab and Business Insights. None of the pages describes a view that shows TikTok and Shopee sessions together.
  • Two definitions of sales. TikTok US counts GMV “during your stream”. Shopee’s Guided Orders take in paid orders checked out within 7 days by shoppers who added to cart while watching the livestream or its replays, and paid orders by shoppers who viewed the livestream and bought within 24 hours from the start of the session.
  • LIVE sales counted before returns. The Data Compass Manual says a LIVE’s Revenue is “the transaction value generated so far in that LIVE, not excluding refund, returned orders or other reverse orders.” For the shop’s daily Revenue chart it says: “Do not exclude return, cancellation, and abnormal orders.” Source: seller-my.tiktok.com, read 2026-09-30 The same Academy lists a separate article, Financial Terms: Differences Between GMV & Settlement. Shopee’s Live Dashboard labels its counts “Gross orders” and “Gross items sold”; the Shopee page does not say whether returns are taken out. Source: seller.shopee.com.my, read 2026-09-30
